A custom bag is not a colour swap on something we already make. It begins as a conversation about your day, and ends as an object built around it.
We design the shape to your life, choose a full-grain leather to match, and make the whole piece by hand at the bench. The load-bearing seams are sewn with the saddle stitch, the technique behind real leather luxury, so the bag holds its line and stays repairable for years. It is the same craft Holland was once known for, brought back to our own atelier.

Saddle-stitched by hand
Every load-bearing seam is sewn by hand with the saddle stitch. A machine stitch unravels when it breaks; a saddle stitch holds at every other point, and stays repairable for decades.

Full-grain leather, chosen to age
We work in full-grain hides selected to patina rather than peel, so your bag earns its character over the years instead of losing it.

How long does a custom leather bag take?
Most made-to-order bags are ready in four to six weeks, depending on the design and the leather. We confirm the timing before we begin, and keep you posted as your piece moves through the atelier.
What does a custom leather bag cost?
Every commission is priced on the design, the leather and the work involved, so there is no fixed list price. Tell us what you have in mind and we will give you an honest estimate before anything is made.
Can I choose the leather and the colour?
Yes. We work in full-grain leather and help you choose the hide, the colour and the finish that suit the bag and the way you will use it.
Can you personalise the bag with my initials?
We can blind-emboss your initials on most pieces, on request: a quiet mark pressed into the leather rather than loud branding.
Where are the bags made?
Every bag is designed and made by hand in our own atelier in Hendrik Ido Ambacht, the Netherlands. Nothing is outsourced.
Do you ship outside the Netherlands?
Yes. We are based in the Netherlands and arrange careful shipping to clients elsewhere. Tell us where you are and we will sort out the details.
